I will always remember Ann as being the sweetest loving and joyful person. I can remember being her only yoga student in the early beginnings. Whether it was 1 or 20 in her class, her teachings were memorable and ‘heavenly. Deepest sympathy to you Larry & Laura. ❤️

Just found out today, my heart is sad for Ann, she was a sweet soul. While only my aunt by marriage, I remember as a young child going to her home, and all I can is heaven gained an angel. 

It is with extreme sadness to have learned of the loss of Ann. In a year to be forgotten, Ann is someone to forever remember. 

I can still hear her sweet calm voice, and still see her eyes light up whenever she smiled.  And with that gentle demeanor, Ann fiercely held to her convictions. I admired the balance. 

And in addition to making this world a more beautiful place with herself, I appreciated her talented green thumb in adding to the earth with plants and flowers.  Also how she lovingly nurtured so many fortunate fur babies, many of whom she is now reunited with forever in happiness.  

Most of all, I loved that Ann was a Daughter’s Mother. She was incredibly dedicated and devoted to her Laura. Ann passed on so much to her, and I could see that. I loved that she was Laura’s confidant, mentor, and best friend. I hope that Laura is finding comfort in all ways possible, and that she draws on the many memories and lessons of her mother to help her through this loss. 

I feel privileged and blessed to have known Sweet Ann. I am sure she is smiling down upon us. 

I will always love you, Ann.

Went hiking today and took Mama with me in my heart. Now she can go everywhere and see all the beauty of nature again. Miss her so much, but know she's free and at peace. xo

Ann was a beautiful spirit.  I had the privilege of being her “son” for a number of years.  During those years she always made me feel welcomed and loved.  She treated me with kindness and respect.   Ann would share ideas that helped me overcome challenges.  Most of all she had my back, for which I’m truly grateful.  So thank you Ann for being one of the true angels on earth.  Thank you for giving me my wonderful sister Laura.

Celebration of Ann's Life

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Larry, her daughter, Laura (John Thornton) and two sweet Maltese “puppies”, Gracie Bell and Buster Boy. She is held close in heart by the Maxwell Family and many wonderful friends.
