Stanley 'Stan' Francis Lewiecki II died on Saturday, December 5th, 2020, comfortable at home in Arlington, Texas surrounded by wife Paige, daughter Maggie, and three dogs: Romo, Leroy, and his beloved Charlie. Born on July 16th, 1966 to Stanley Lewiecki Sr. and Peggy Lewiecki née Livingston, Stan grew up in Fort Worth before moving on to Austin in 1984 to attend the University of Texas for both undergrad and law school. After completing law school, he met Paige Anders, with whom he quickly fell in love. The two would go on to have a daughter, Maggie, who he loved. Stan is survived by his beloved wife and daughter, father Stan, and a myriad of cherished cousins. He is preceded in death by mother Peggy and son Holden Anders Lewiecki.
Stan was loved by all who had the good fortune to encounter him. Few who met him left him without feeling listened to and engaged with in a way that's rare in the world. Stan never did anything halfway – if he put his mind to it, it would be done to the highest level of efficiency and care. From softball concession stands to serving on the building committee at Ash Lane United Methodist Church, Stan executed everything he did with incredible care and compassion. Stan will be remembered as deeply funny, profoundly kind, and as the best dad anyone could hope to have.
