

Howard was born in 1917 in New York, Howard was a graduate of Cooper Union in New York City in Chemical Engineering. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the 45th Infantry Division, also known as the Thunderbird Division, in the European Theater. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain and moved to Colorado. His lifelong career was as a manufacturing sales representative in the fine jewelry industry. Howard was a true lover of animals and nature, a voracious reader and loved to travel. He was also a dedicated member of the Silver Sneakers, attending gym classes two to three times per week lasting until shortly before his death.
Howard is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Cohen; his children: Debbie (Chuck) Kerr, Randi Jackson, Michael (Susan) Cohen; his grandchildren: Kaitlin Kerr, Christopher Kerr, Alexander Cohen, Kara Cohen, Madison Cohen.
Howard was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Rose Cohen, his sister Bertha Rabin, and his brothers Ben Cohen, Abe Cohen, and Robert Corey
Services will be held at the Goodson Center, 6315 So. University, Littleton, Colorado on Saturday May 5, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
