Connie retired from AISD after working at Sanchez Elementary School.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Jose G. Lopez; her father, Rene Santamarina; her sister and brother-in-law, Mercedes and Dr. Ben Vega.
Connie is survived by her two sons, Joe G. Lopez Jr. and Rene A. Lopez;, six grandchildren; sister-in-law, Josephine L. Rocha; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Monday, November 15, 2010 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
