William Bohning Newberry of Austin, Texas, was born in Ft. Worth, Texas in 1928 to Beth Bohning and Oliver Perry Newberry. He died December 10, 2006, in Austin. After attending Dartmouth, Mr. Newberry received a Masters in Geology from The University of Texas. Since that time he has functioned in the oil and gas exploration and production industry for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, O. P. Newberry, Jr. Surviving him are his wife, Suzanne and their children, Susan, Bill and Marianne, and John and Diane. There are also six grandchildren, Bill, Christie, Michelle, Tammy, John and Robert. He will be remembered at graveside services at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2006, at Austin Memorial Park, 2800 Hancock Dr. in Austin. Obituary and guestbook online at wcfish.com
