Patty E. Stogsdill
73, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 8, 2021. Patty loved her animals and especially loved spending time with her family. Patty was a nurse for many years and loved working with the elderly patients. She would give you the shirt off of her back. She was so very giving, even to strangers.
Patty is survived by her daughters; Dawn Oke and Nicole Gennrich, grandchildren; Tesla Gennrich, Joshua Choat, Jacob Gennrich and Alainie Lemessurier, great-grandchildren; Peyton, Damian, Sylis, Loma, Jace and Vinny, sisters; Mary E. (Timothy) Sheets and Deborah Ashely.
She is proceeded in death by her parents; Robert and Edith Lonsberry and sisters; Joann Carver and Carolyn Russell.
Visitation will be held at Little and Sons Beech Grove Chapel on Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 11:00am-1:00pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be immediately following at 1:00pm. Burial will take place at Acton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made directly to the Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
It is our utmost concern to keep everyone as safe a possible during the Covid 19 Pandemic. We are allowing 25 guests in our building for visitation and 50 guests for the funeral. Masks must be worn at all times while inside the funeral home.

Prayers and condolences to you all! Weird I had not talked to Tess in so long and I just decided to look up Patty today and saw this. I remember staying the night many times and her house with Tess, Josh, and Jacob! I love your family and will always have an unseverable connection to you guys and just know that you are thought of every day!
