Beverly was a professor at Charles Drew  and she was the most encouraging and beautiful spirit at the college.  She was always available to explain her lectures if a student didn't understand, and she was always kind to me. She will be missed.

My deepest condolences to the Brown family .  Thank you Ms Lassiter-Brown for seeing the potential in me back in the 90s and not allowing me to quit or take a break from the program .   You knew if I left for a year to go and have a baby at 21 , I would never return to the program.  You worked with me to have my baby and return to graduate on time with my peers .   You also gave me my first teaching job as a PA  a few years later .  I thank you from the bottom of my heart .   I am who I am today because YOU stood with me and believed in me .   Rest in perfect peace🕊   You will be missed.  
May the Lord continue to comfort your family during this difficult time of loss .

Auntie, I’m going to miss you so much, visiting you and grandma was always one of the highlight of any trip we would take to California, We wish we could have had the cruise that we planned for the family but I’m looking forward to cruising with you when I get to Heaven.
