Helen Mae Shaw, 83, passed away December 24, 2010. Helen was born October 13, 1927 in Pittsburg, Kansas to parents James and Paula Stansel. Helen married Bill Shaw, and worked for Sears in Receiving but was known to many as the Cookie Lady. She loved to bake and was very good at it. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughter Judy Hulsey, son Brad Shaw, twin sister Ellen Brinley, and brother Jerry Stansel, 12 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Shaw, son David, son Roger, and 2 grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 2PM Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be at Bill Merritt From 2-9pm.
