

Fannie was born on March 6, 1946, to Hezekiah Stackhouse and Eliza Brown Stackhouse in Horry County, SC. Graduated from Commerce High School in New York in 1964 and later retired from Colonial Bank in Birmingham, Alabama. What we know about Fannie is she brought warmth and strength to all who knew her. Throughout her life, Fannie was known for her unwavering kindness, bold words of wisdom, sassy yet classy attire, black knee boots and stilettos!Most of all a deep love for her family and friends.
Fannie’s life was a testament to resilience, compassion, and dignity. Whether offering a listening ear, lending a helping hand, or simply sharing “straight with no chaser” words of wisdom, she touched countless lives in meaningful ways. Her presence was a blessing, and her memory will be a guiding light for those she leaves behind.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hezekiah Stackhouse and Eliza Brown, and a host of siblings. She is mourned by her husband of 51 years Phillip C Wills, daughter Sajada Wills, son-in-law Marques DeLoatch, granddaughter Alaizha Wills-Browne(Tyce Blankenship Sr), grandson Darius Wills-Browne, great-grandson Tyce Blankenship Jr, great-granddaughter McKynna Blankenship, one living sister Hope Foster, her best friend Bertha Hamilton, a host of nieces, nephews and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
As we celebrate her life, we remember her not with sadness alone but with gratitude for the years we shared and the love she gave so freely. May her soul rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing.
