James Helmer Sullivan

Jim worked for Wetterau as an inbound checker for 23 years then worked as a custodian at the Indiana Memorial Union until he retired.

Jim is survived by his three sons; Phillip A. (Deb)Sullivan, Randy L. (Tammy)Sullivan, Richard T.(Jackie) Denton and his daughter Eva Marie Sullivan. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; Dustin(Chrystal) Sullivan, Luke Sullivan and Joni(Will)Rosson, 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews and his loyal canine companion Lucky.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years Anna Lou(Boling)Sullivan, his parents, his step-mother Luella Sullivan, his siblings; Kizzie Ann Stultz, Charles E. Sullivan, Jack E. Sullivan, Jr., his grandson Chad A. Sullivan.

Friends may call on the Sullivan family on Tuesday January 29, 2019 from 4-8 pm in Deremiah-Frye Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 W. Gourley Pike, Bloomington, Indiana 47404. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. also in the funeral home with Rev. Harold Godsey officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens, Bloomington.
