Margaret Ann Fleener, age 90, of Bloomington, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at Garden Villa in Bloomington. Born October 23, 1930 in Linton, Indiana, she was the daughter of William Judson and Ina Iva (Shelton) Collins. Margaret retired as a cook at Garden Villa. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, writing poetry, watching television, especially westerns and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Stanford Baptist Church.
Margaret is survived by her two daughters, Cindy (Stephen) Beaumont, of Gosport and Linda (John) Paul, of Bloomington, her son, James (Kathleen) Fleener, of Bloomington; four grandchildren, Melissa (Jimmy) Taylor, Jessica Fleener, Andrew (Jennifer) Fleener and Allison (Cody) Bland, one great-grandchild, Vanessa Taylor and many other beloved family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Edward Fleener and one brother, Dewey Collins.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 20 at 11:00 a.m. at the Carmichael Cemetery in eastern Greene County.
Memorial contributions may be given to Meals on Wheels or to the Area 10 Agency on Aging.
