Marie Evelyn (Hillyard) Hoch, age 94, of East Dallas, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday June 8, 2020 at the Colonial Park Care Center in Harrisburg, PA. Marie was born July 29, 1925 to the late Lottie M. (Wagner) and Allen L. Hillyard.
Marie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially when she was playing card games with them. A wonderful cook and baker, she would make treats for her loved ones. Cakes, pies, and even apple dumplings were shared quite often together. When she was not with her family, she spent her time sewing and doing needle point.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband Earl Henry Hoch Jr. of Lower Nazareth Township, PA to whom she spent many long and happy years with.
Marie is survived by; daughter Joan Hoch wife of Stanley; son Robert Hoch; and daughter Carol Hoch. Marie leaves 31 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will occur Friday, June 12, 2020 at 11:00 AM, 111 N Reading Ave, Boyertown, Pennsylvania 19512. A viewing for Marie will be held Friday, June 12, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service. A committal service will occur Friday, June 12, 2020 at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 East Arcadia Drive, Limerick, PA 19468.
