Faye Lorraine Copple, age 93, passed away on November 5, 2020 after fighting a stroke, she went peacefully into her loving Savior's arms. Faye was born on March 18, 1927 in Chester, PA to the late Obediah and the late Mabel Hottle.
Faye loved having a cat, reading, knitting, swimming, shopping, singing in the choir, playing the organ, and even directing the choir at her home church that she helped establish. She spent most of her days enjoying the game of BINGO and even called BINGO at her care centers. She loved spending her summers in Buttonwood Beach, Maryland and winters in Bradenton, FL. In 1999 she and her husband, Charles Copple, decided it was time to sell their home in Maryland and fully retire to Bradenton, FL. This is where Faye was able to spend quality time with her sister and brother-in-law Virginia and George Brown until they passed away. She always had a smile and made friends easily. You never saw her go anywhere without her running into someone that she knew or to just stop to have a friendly conversation.
Faye is survived by a husband of 72 years, Charles Copple, FL; a daughter, Lynne Haney and her husband Thomas Haney, PA; two grandchildren, Kristin Farinacci and her husband Chad Farinnaci, DE, and Brenda Severin and her husband Louis Severin, FL; two great-grandchildren who she cherished deeply.
Faye's ashes will be placed at Sarasota National Cemetery. There will be a celebration of life for family and friends on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the Home of Louis and Brenda Severin. Friends and family are welcome to come pay their respects between 5:00 – 9:00 PM.
"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, I believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." John 14: 1-3 KJV.
