My dearest angel mother, today marks the one month anniversary of your passing it also is a celebration of your anniversary, the day you and my father married. I miss you so much mom. Here's a little something I wanted to say: My Angel Mother ; Of all the human names held sacred in our memory, none equals the sweet and sublime name of mother. How precious in after years are the recollections of a mother's patient training. How many have nobly ascribed all recognized success to the devotion and guidance of mother. Through helpless infancy her throbbing heart was our strong support and safe protection. It is not strange, therefore, that we feel animated to struggle more courageously in life's great battle when we recall mother's prayers in childhood early dawn and think upon her consoles and youth slippery path. Those lofty percepts! Impressions as durable as time! All that I am or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.


   It was with great sadness that I learned of Grandma Pall's passing. She was such a great person and a very sweet lady. Her soul is now at peace. She is resting with the Lord. Grandma Pall, you are forever carried in my memory! Much Love, Rhea

 I'll miss you Grandma. Thinking back to my childhood I remember fishing off your dock as a young boy & climbing the trees in your back yard. Also the time I came to visit in my little John boat with my friend and you made us a snack. I also remember you making boats out of news paper. Or when you & Grandpa came to my baseball games. Thank you Grandma for writing all the postcards to me last year, and all your prayers for me. I'm so glad we got to speak the week before you left us all. Your letters kept me going Grandma, and knowing no matter what you never judged me, you loved me just the same. I will miss our visits and doing the word search and Yahtzee. Most of all I'll miss your smiling face and your hugs & kisses. I'll never forget you Gaga!

I will never forget your joy for life. You shared your humor, warmth, and love for family.  Even though our memories were short, I am grateful for the lovely memories.

It's never easy to say goodbye to somebody we love, but we can take comfort in knowing that they remain with us in the memories we create together. I can say that I was a very blessed child. I was blessed because I had wonderful and loving grandparents. While I was growing up they were not only grandparents, but best friends to me. We are only as old as we allow ourselves to become, and my grandparents were young at heart. I have so many memories of wonderful time spent together with them. Grandma often told me a story about pulling me to a the store in a little red wagon. Apparently I was quite a lazy little boy, but I was blessed to have a grandmother who loved me enough to joyfully tow me along in my wagon. I came into her life when she was already getting old, but fortunately she lived a good, long life, 94 great years. As a grandchild, I was able to develop a unique relationship with her, and probably knew her in a way that others did not. 

For me, my grandma was a very kind, loving and patient woman. She was always a joy and a pleasure to be around. She was a very smart woman, a whiz at crossword puzzles and card games. She was very talented, able to make all kinds of interesting crafts out of seashells, yarn, or even just a simple sheet of paper. She could make boats or hats out of paper. Both she and my grandfather loved to read, and I am sure that this early exposure to reading is the reason for my own love for both reading and writing. 

My grandma loved me, and all her children and grandchildren, very much. She always wanted the best for all of us. The love she and grandpa showered upon me is the source of many happy childhood memories. Any good qualities I might possess I owe to them. Early childhood is our formative years and what happens in those years will surely determine the type of person we will become later in life. So I am eternally grateful to God for my wonderful grandparents and all the love they showed me. 

Grandma lived a long and good life. She was active, mentally and physically, right until the end. I thank God for the opportunity to know her, for the time we spent together, and the bond between us. I look forward to seeing her face and hearing her voice again one day. Until then, I will always be missing you grandma.

Dear grandma, thank you for all the memories even through the short times I got to see you, sine you lived far away from me. My first memory as an child going to grandpa and grandma house is your style. I loved how you had strings beads hanging from your door frame. I can say I ran in and out of that room alot!  I could say the next time I came two years later it was cut most of the way, I hope it was not because of me?! 
The last memory I have is in last April I came to visit with my husband and kids. I took you outside of your nursing hom for an good two hours. I kind of had that feeling that it might be the last, so we spent time talking and I showed pictures of my girls growing up so fast. 
Now your not in pain no more and partying with our King Jesus. Im sure you are having lots of conversation on keeping up with your family especially your husband and my dad. Bye for now, until we meet aging in that perfect place where distance can't keep us apart. Love you always..

Dearest Mother, Death cannot kill that which never dies. The love you once bestowed on Earth is now immoral. It lives on always. Your spirit is still with me. My memories of you belong to me forever. I will forever honour your memory in my heart. I find memories of you in many places. I thank God that he had given you the gift of a long life. Thank you Mom for giving me life & instilling in me a firm foundation to believe in. I will miss our Mother daughter time together. Until we meet again, lie down in peace & sleep. Love, Kathy xoxo
