Anne A. Berson

Anne A. Berson, 94, of Worcester, formerly of Newton and Boynton Beach, FL, entered into rest on Friday, November 23, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Dr. Frank R. Berson, with whom she shared 67 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2012. Born in Chelsea, she was daughter of the late Reuben and Anne (Walk) Kaplan.

After graduating from high school, Anne worked as a draftswoman for the war effort. She was a talented artist who created many beautiful and useful porcelain pieces. She also pursued numerous interests including knitting, crocheting, needlepointing, sewing and baking. Her greatest joy was bestowing these gifts upon her husband, her children, and her grandchildren. Anne was a devoted wife and mother, who taught her children to love unconditionally.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved children, Jane Moss and her husband Dr. Alan Moss of Worcester, and Dr. Paul J. Berson and his wife Renee Berson of Philadelphia, PA, as well as six devoted grandchildren and four treasured great-grandchildren.

A funeral service for Anne will be held on Tuesday, November 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Sharon Memorial Park Chapel, 40 Dedham St., Sharon, MA, with burial immediately following. Shiva will be observed on Tuesday, following services until 8:00 p.m., at the home of Jocelyn Roth.
