Jorge Melendez, age 72, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. Jorge was born April 23, 1948.

Jorge is survived by his esposa, Guadalupe Melendez; hijo Juan Gonzalez; nuera Jessica Gonzalez, nieto Juan Gonzalez Jr, nieta Monica Gonzalez, nieta Brianna Gonzalez and tia Mikaela Quintero.

Jorge was preceded in death by padre Hinocensio Melendez (†) and madre Alicia Morales (†).

A visitacion for Jorge will be held Monday, August 10, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A servicio en el cementerio will occur Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
