Antonia H. Castillo, 81, of Bryan, passed away July 16, 2019 at CHI-St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, July 19th at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan, with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:00 Noon, Saturday, July 20th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Antonia was born June 13, 1938 in McClanahan, Texas the daughter of Juan and Aurea (Toledo) Hernandez. Antonia’s specialty was cooking and worked at Desert Hill Hospital and Sanderson Farms.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Juan & Aurea Hernandez; a son, Macario (Mike) Cruz, Jr.; brothers, Crescencio, Ben T. and Albert Hernandez; son-in-law, Jose Coronado; sisters-in-law, Josie Hernandez, Cruz Hernandez, and Ruth Hernandez; brother-in-law, Marcial Salinas.

Survivors include her husband, Filemon; daughter, Margaret Coronado; brothers, Steve Hernandez, Marselo Hernandez; sisters, Genobeba Salinas, Mary & her husband Joe D. Garcia, and Linda Caballero; daughter-in-law, Dolores R. Cruz; four grandchildren, John Michael Cruz, Sylvia Coronado, Joseph Marcus Cruz, and Ismael Rueben Cruz; five great grandchildren, Joseph Michael Cruz, Gianna Cruz, Alexis Correa, Addison Correa and Izabella Cruz.
