Deborah Desroches

She is survived by her two children, daughter Lauren, son Benjamin, her parents Doreen and Fernand (Nan & Pa), and her beloved husband Dr. Ron Fulton. She also leaves behind an incredible number of friends and relatives, all of whom will miss her deeply.

Debbie was unfailingly kind and gracious towards everyone. Always embracing life, she had a strong sense of community involvement and volunteerism and a deep desire to help others. Never losing her sense of humour, Debbie was always ready to share a laugh with those around her. She was so talented in so many ways, and had a great sense of style and creativity.

Her family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Sophie Sun and all the other medical, nursing and support staff at the BC Cancer Agency (Vancouver). We are especially grateful to all the staff on 5West at the Cancer Agency who cared for her and our family with such grace and dignity. We would also like to extend a special thank you to all of her friends who provided endless support and laughter throughout her life, especially through the past six years of her illness. She cherished each one of you.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on June 22, 2015 from 3pm-6pm at the Arbutus Club in Vancouver.

In lieu of flowers we would ask that donations be made to the BC Cancer Foundation in her memory.

She will be greatly missed by not only her family but all of those she came in contact with throughout her beautiful life.
