Born in Campbellton, NB on February 20, 1946 to the late Gertrude (Butler) and Beverly "Buster" Maisey.
Karen was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy (Dot) Munro and her niece, Christine. She is survived by her brother, Gerald Maisey.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Beverley Maisey (Mike Vienneau) and Tara (Ryan) LePoidvin, her grandchildren Evan, Kyle, Sophie and Elena. As well as her nieces, nephews and many great nieces and great nephews.
Known for her love of animals and kindness to others, Karen's generosity knew no limits. Karen was loved and will be missed by her many cousins and friends.
Open to all, the funeral service will be held at Maher’s Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St. Campbellton on Wednesday August 3rd at 2:00 pm, with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
For those who wish, donations can be made in Karen’s memory to the Restigouche SPCA, or donors choice.
