Sandra Carol Swartz

Beloved wife of the late Martin Swartz for over 50 years. Devoted mother of Karen Jewell and her husband Jay of Dunstable, and Jennifer Aalerud of North Andover. Loving sister-in-law of Robert “Bob” Swartz and his wife Caroline of Greer, SC. Grandmother of Cole and Mikey Aalerud.

Born in Port Chester, NY, Sandra grew up in the Long Island area and later lived in Scotia, NY, where she was involved in her high school’s newspaper and annual yearbooks. After graduation she went to Bentley College of Accounting and Finance as one of the first group of women admitted. Later she enjoyed working as a bookkeeper at an international academic publishing house. Sandra was an avid fundraiser and volunteered at a local hospital. Sandra loved traveling New England, gardening, sewing, baking, woodworking, and trips to see friends in Florida.

Funeral Services will be held at Temple Beth Sholom, 600 Nantasket Avenue, Hull on Thursday, March 3rd at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be donated to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
