Mrs. Pham Thi Thanh was born in Ha Dong, North Vietnam on November 10, 1930. A large portion of her life was spent studying the word of God at a Catholic school. She was always regarded as a spiritual, kind, and maternal soul. She and her husband, Thieu Khac Nguyen, married in 1950. She and her family moved to South Vietnam in 1953. In 1992, she and her family immigrated to America and settled in Dallas, Texas. She was widowed in 2014. She and her husband have 12 children (5 sons and 7 daughters), 3 daughter in laws, 6 son in laws, 14 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Her passing leaves a huge void in the hearts of the people who loved her. She will be greatly missed by her friends, family, and former colleagues
