Christopher Penney was a dear, sweet, loving friend to me for many, many years. He was there for me through many happy and many difficult times. Chris loved to laugh and make people laugh. He always sang metal ballads to me in his high falsetto voice. Some songs I hear now and only hear in his sing-song voice. I remember hanging out at Tammy and Jerry's apartment and playing with Jake. I remember meeting his mother and younger brother - he was so proud to introduce them around and show them off. I remember the bitter cold day and somber evening services held for his mother when she passed away. He was relieved to have his family at his side and a friend in attendance. Chris had such a goofy demeanor and this made him so endearing to so many different people from all walks of life. He always called me Annie, like a brother, and I always called him Mr. Penney. You could not help but to love him. He will be greatly missed.

I just learned and am devastated by his sudden passing. I worked with Chris years ago at Wendy's. I had lost touch with him and had been searching for him. I hear that he did search for me too.
