Doreen Beavers Johnson

Doreen Beavers Johnson was born on January 18, 1958 to Erma Beavers and the late Doyal Beavers Sr. in Gary, IN. Doreen departed this life at the age of 60 years old to join her heavenly father on February 28, 2018. Doreen graduated from West Side High School in 1976 also from Ivy Tech Vocational College with an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science in Gary, IN. She was employed by the Federal Government for over 33 years in California.

In 1980 she married her High School Sweetheart Michael Anthony Johnson I. With this union two children were born, Michael II and Durrell. Doreen was a loving person with a big heart and personality to match. She loved to jokes, keeping everyone laughing. Doreen was a giving person that would give you the shirt off her back. She loved roller skating, talking on the phone, traveling, collecting angels, watching her favorite movies and television shows and was an avid shopper. She adored her dog Scooter and loved pending time with him.
