John Charles Davis, 80, of Onalaska, Wash., passed away unexpectedly at Providence Centralia Hospital, following a brief illness. John was born on May 15th, 1939, in Crockett, Tex., to John Phinis and Dorothy Eulene (Jones) Davis.
John married the love of his life, Flora Mae Dugan, on June 23rd, 1960, in Midland, Tex.
He loved traveling and being with his family and friends, and enjoyed sharing experiences and stories with them. John was a Helicopter and fixed-wing Airplane pilot, whose work was hard, but very adventurous. John never ran out of things to talk about.
John was preceded in death by his parents; and five brothers.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Flora; son, Allen D. Davis; daughter, Saundra; grandchildren, John S. (Jamie) Davis and Christina L. (Stephen) Stoner; great grandchildren, Koris and Kobin Davis, and Owyn, Gage, and Wyat Stoner; brother, Jerry P. Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
