Granny was preceded in death by her father, HH (Allie) Middlebrooks; mother, Lucile Fitts; husband, J.T. Richie; sisters, Wanda Mae Jones, Ernestine Farrow, and Minnie Frances Worrell; brothers, J. Millard Middlebrooks, Joe Middlebrooks, Sammy Middlebrooks, and George Middlebrooks.
Granny is survived by daughters, Luci Coalson and Donna (Larry) Kimbrough; sister, Ann (Clyde) McCulley; grandchildren, Marc (Veronica) Price, Kasie (Stan) Stamps, Tammy (Chris) Webb, and Tiffani (Courtney) Milstead; and seven great grandchildren.
Granny was a charter member of Pineview Baptist Church. Her heart was filled when she was with others serving the Lord and singing His praises. She loved serving her community and was well known for Granny’s Bakery and her gracious heart that fed everyone. Granny thrived having a house full of family and friends and could never get enough time with all the grand babies, great grands, and everyone she made feel like family. Her love for Jesus, family and friends, and Auburn Football will be her legacy – WAR EAGLE!
A visitation for Granny will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pineview Baptist Church, 10291 Highway 5, Brent, Alabama. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Pineview Baptist Church.
Granny will be laid to rest in Pineland Memorial Cemetery, 3472 Montgomery Highway, Centreville, Alabama.
