William Bryant Stevens, age 77, died on Monday, August 20, 2012 in a local hospital. He was the son of the late William and Eleanor Stevens. Mr. Stevens was a retired Real Estate Executive. He worked on behalf of Taco Bell, Burger Chef and served as Vice President of Hardees Food Systems. Upon retirement he was affiliated with the Compass Group. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He loved to read and was a great conversationalist.
Preceded in death by son, Michael Stevens; sister, Patricia Newland.
Survived by loving wife of 47 years, Anita Stevens; daughter, Audrey Smith and her husband Brent of Ooltewah; grandson, Taylor Smith and granddaughter, Victoria Smith.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 6 PM at the Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist, Valley View Chapel. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4 PM to 6 PM at the funeral home.
