William Henry Isgett Jr.

William Henry Isgett, Jr. passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019 in Statesville, NC where he had been living for the last several years. Mr. Isgett was born in Winston-Salem, NC on December 3, 1930 to the late William Henry Isgett and Lula Wood Isgett. He is survived by his son, Neil Isgett, of Charlotte, NC; his daughter, Leona Isgett Hiatt, and son-in law, Ray Hiatt, of Statesville, NC, and their mother, Sumiko Isgett, of Huntersville, NC. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Gwandella Griffin, and her husband, Lonnie, of Lexington, SC.

Mr. Isgett graduated from Lewisville High School, class of 1949. He entered into the Army in 1951 and served in Japan during the Korean Conflict. After returning to civilian life, he was employed in the hospitality field and retired in 1995.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 16 at Vogler & Sons Funeral Home in Clemmons. The family will receive friends starting at 1pm prior to the service. Burial will be at Grace Baptist Church in Lewisville, NC.
