John B. Fodera

John B. Fodera, age 89, passed peacefully away at home on November 5, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Rose Marie; loving father of Samuel (Christine), Rose Ann, John (Sabrina), Mary (Michael) Donaghue, the late Paul, William (Heidi), Theresa (Mark) Zbozien, Nancy Gerich, and Michael (Susan).

Dear grandfather of Anne Marie (Todd), Kate Lynn (Scott), Andrea (Rick), Derrick, Barbara (Michael), Jason (Carrie), Jeffrey (Staci), Michael, Melanie, Johnny, Drew, Christopher (Jackie), Amanda (Jake), Daniel, Kyle, Isabel, Joshua, Seth, Angelina, Chase and Preston and great-grandfather of Benjamin, Liam, Emelia, Caroline, Elizabeth, Calvin, Gabrielle, Evelyn, Griffin, Emerson, Eli, Duke, Autumn, Ava Rose and Jackson; John is also survived by many other loving family members. He is predeceased by parents Salvatore and Rosaria and siblings Rose Marie Albers and Stephen.

John retired from Chrysler after 45 years. He loved to cook, and was an avid sports autograph collector. He always kept up a beautiful flower garden. John loved to travel and enjoyed trips to Hawaii and Italy among other places. If you couldn’t find John at home you’d be sure to find him at the Golden Corral, eating chicken legs.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 2:00pm to 9:00pm with a 7:00 pm prayer service at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Township, MI 48035. A funeral instate will be on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 9:30am until the time of mass at 10:00am at St. Paul of Tarsus Church, 41300 Romeo Plank Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48038
