Maria loved unconditionally, she had a heart bigger than the universe itself. She was a wonderful, loving, and compassionate Mom to not only her children but to all who knew her, she will be missed greatly.
Maria is survived by her loving children; daughter Liza Cestero; daughter Yaritza Vazquez; and son Carlos Huertas; her loving husband Jose Matos; grandchildren: Christopher, Yhadier, Nathan, and Abigail; and many other relatives.
A gathering of family and friends for Maria will be held Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Wildwood Room at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Maria's memory may be made to To honor Maria Huertas and her love for Christmas. Her family has requested, in lieu of flowers, an ornament to place on a special tree at her service.
