Eva Jo White

She was born August 8th, 1945, in Caldwell Co., KY, to the late Bert E. and Vivian Neal Lieber. On September 26th, 1998, she married David E. White.

Surviving are her husband David E White of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter Tina E. (Steven) Chaffin, of Columbus, Ohio; three sons, Chad Edwards of Columbus, Ohio; Todd (Roberta) White of Delaware, Ohio, Bryan (Susan) White of North Carolina; 7 Grandchildren, James (Charlene) Preston, Ashleigh Preston, Ryan Preston, Faith Preston, Thad Chaffin, Sabrina Chaffin, Emma Chaffin, Abby Chaffin, David White, Sam White, Aaron White; 4 great grandchildren; a sister, Judy Staker of Wheelersburg, Ohio; a brother Michael (Marla) Lieber of Baltimore, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

Eva Jo devoted her life to God. For years, she sang in the choir and looked forward to the annual concerts such as the Singing Christmas Tree.

She loved animals, fur babies as she called them, and was a member of the Humane Society and often donated to rescue centers. If she wasn't spending time with her animals, you would also find her travelling, going to southern gospel concerts, fishing, watching Ohio State basketball and football and visiting with family so she could love them and hold their babies.

Eva Jo was retired from the Human Resource industry after 40 years of service.

Friends may call at Heart & Hope Funeral Home by Schoedinger in Linden, Columbus, Ohio on Friday, January 21st from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Chillicothe at 12:30 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will be announced later.
