Thinking of my dear Auntie Ruth today, and sending love to all her kin.  In reading all the online condolence tributes, I was so impressed by her quiet servitude (of decades!).  What a wonderful woman.  She was a loving aunt to me, making up for what my dad did not supply.  Holidays will not be the same without Ruth puttering in the kitchen, and the food at Strongholm will never be as good again!  I love you and miss you, Ruthie.  R.I.P.  See you again, someday...

On behalf of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 21, I offer my sincere condolences to Ruth's family.  Her spirit lives on through the continuing good works of the Auxiliary and I will always remember Ruth driving in the Memorial Day parades.  Rest in Peace Sister Ruth.  God bless you.

Our sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved Mom, Gram and Great Grandma.  She was a very special lady who was loved by many.  God must have needed a special rose for His glorious garden when he came for her.  She may have passed from this earth, but her memory will live on in your hearts.  Sending you lots of hugs, prayers and thoughts.

Sorry for your loss,this lady taught me alot about the American Legion Auxiliary. Iam still a member and hold a place as an officer. She taught me so much about our Veterans. My Mom and I would like to extend our sympathy to all of her family.

My deepest sympathy to Ruth's family.  I worked at the VNA with Ruth and remember her lovely smile.  She was always kind and caring of others.  She made the best peanut butter fudge and would share her homemade goodies with the office.  Thinking of you at this difficult time with thoughts and prayers.

Ruth was the president of our American Legion Auxiliary , Unit 21 in Concord for many years. Our current membership visited with Ruth at her home when her access ramp was completed. We had a great visit and she remembered so much about the history of our Unit! We all felt a renewed energy to continue the work that Ruth led to support the mission of the American Legion through our Auxiliary activities.

It was a blessing and joy to serve Ruth as a caregiver in her home for several years.  She was a woman with many interests and always gracious and kind.  She shared many wonderful stories of growing up in Concord, of her camp in Penacook, travels with the military and the joys of raising 5 children.  She loved to bake and taught me to make her famous oatmeal bread, baked beans and to weave a piecrust.  We had many laughs and I shall hold her gracious spirit in my heart always.

Ruth was a dear friend of the Martha Circle in WUMC.  For our fundraiser auctions, she gladly provided yummy creamy PB fudge and homemade baked loaves of bread.  Always a great seller.  When she no longer could do so; she had either her son or a caregiver make the fudge for us.  A quiet individual with a beautiful smile to express her joy.
