
CONCORD – William A. “Bill” Beall, Sr., 90 died on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Harris Hill Center, in Concord.
Mr. Beall was born on December 12, 1924, in Columbus, Georgia. He was raised in Columbus and attended local schools there.
He was a veteran and served in the United States Marine Corps, during World War II.
Mr. Beall worked for the Concord Police Department. He retired from H.P. Hood & Sons, after 35 years as a salesman. Mr. Beall also worked at the NH Technical Institute for 3 years.
He coached Babe Ruth and the Little League in Concord. Mr. Beall was also very active in scouting and was a Cub Scout Leader.
Family members include; his wife, Dorothy “Dottie” L. (Suhl) Beall, of Concord; 5 sons, William “Bill” A. Beall, Jr., of Bow, NH; Mickey Beall, of Concord; Todd Beall, of Dunbarton; Ronnie Lamb, of Cortland, VA; Jimmie Lamb, of Fayetteville, NC; 2 daughters, Sharon Byers, of Concord; Kathy Taylor, of Naples, FL; 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; stepbrothers, James Beall and Leon Beall, both of Columbus, GA; nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at Trinity Baptist Church, 80 Clinton Street, in Concord. Following a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM in the church. The Reverend Brian Fuller will officiate the service. Committal prayers and military honors will follow at Blossom Hill Cemetery, in Concord.
