Delane Marren

Delane was employed by Kroger for 30 years in the meat department. She had many coworkers and friends there. She loved animals and children and loved to talk to people. She loved to watch crime , mystery, some comedy shows. Her favorite pastime was going shopping or burning leaves. She enjoyed trying something new but really enjoyed her quiet time a lot more. The little things she did wasn’t extraordinary, but they were things that will be remembered. She had a very hard life growing up, but she always said it was those hard times that made her who she was today. They were life’s lessons learned and no matter how tough, her faith remained strong. She talked of the Lord often and always prayed for anyone she met.

Delane is preceded in death by her parents and her precious dog Sneeky.

She is survived by her son Robin Futrell Jr. of Louisiana and her brother Michael Cowart and his wife Leisha, both of Louisiana.

A celebration of life for Delane will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Grace Bible Church, 502 West Stewart St., Willis, Texas with Pastor Gerald Wheaton officiating.
