We met John and Pili at a 4th of July gathering in Howard Jones house, since, we shared a lot of fun moments with him. At the Cafe Levante, at the Casetas main plaza on several trips back and forth to Madrid Airport and many other occasions. He will be remembered in ours heart forever.

When my uncle Johnny and aunt Piliar would visit from Spain , they used to bring my sister Terrie and I a doll. The dolls were dressed in traditional Spanish attire. I still have all of them. So sorry we hadn’t visited with him in several years.

John will always be remembered fondly as a friend of the family. Our time together both on and off duty during our tenure in the U.S. Air Force was priceless and his easy-going spirit and willingness to share thoughts made it even more so.
Passing along our heartfelt sympathy to the entire Harman family during this time, you will remain in our constant prayers. May the Lord bless you and give you peace.

I will always fondly remember my good friends and neighbors the Harmans. It was a sad day when they moved away earlier this year. It was heartbreaking to hear about John's untimely passing and my thoughts and prayers are with his wife and children during this difficult time. I will never forget our lovely evenings of sitting outside and talking about everything that crossed our minds.......

I have some great memories of my Uncle Johnny. I will always remember the time I was able to visit him and Aunt Pilar. They took my mother and I to see the Alamo. It was very interesting and I was able to take visiting it off my bucket list.

Big John will always be remembered. A kind man who always had time to listen. Loved him like a brother.
