Janie M. Ozuna

Janie M. Ozuna, age 86 entered into the Kingdom of the Lord, Tuesday, May 29, 2018 with her loving family by her side. She was born on May 2, 1932 in Taft, Texas to the late Pablino and Maria Martinez.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Timoteo S. Ozuna, a son, Jimmie Ozuna; her brother Modesto Martinez and Sister Josefina Dominguez.

She leaves behind her family to cherish her memories, her brother Jose Martinez, one sister Sofia Gonzales; two sons, Manuel Ozuna (Lois) and Julian Ozuna, nine grandchildren, Manuel Jr., Raymond, Marisa, Julian Anthony (Andrea), David Michael (Vicki), Joshua (Edna), Julian Ozuna, Darnell Day (Catherine) and Rochelle Day (Ike Shipman); seventeen great-grandchildren, one great great-granddaughter, and daughter-in-law, Joyce Morales (Tom) along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

They welcomed over 20 foster children into their home. Special Thank you to Michael and Vicki Ozuna and Joyce Morales who provided care in her final days.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
