Mary Y. Figueroa

She was married to Jose Jordan Figueroa. Mary worked for Zachry at Lyondell Basell for 11 years in Corpus Christi, Texas until she retired on June 28, 2018. She was a member of Temple I AM. Mary had a passion to serve God, family friends and others. She loved listening to music and dancing. She doted on her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymundo Sr. and Juanita Ybarra; brothers, Raymond Jr., Rodolfo and Ramiro Ybarra; and a sister, Sylvia Marie Pedraza.

Mary is survived by her husband, Jose Figueroa; son, Maximo Y. Garcia Jr. (Bertha); daughter, Alma Jean Hernandez (Raul); eight grandchildren, Christina, Cassandra, Clarissa, Frank, Desiree, Esmeralda, Sarah and Maximo III; six great-grandchildren, Michael, Ayden, Mila, Elijah, Jesse, Jeremiah; sisters, Mary Meza and Mary Anne (Pete) Besinaiz Jr.; brothers, Robert (Janie) Ybarra, Ruben, Raul and Ricardo Ybarra and various nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 10:00 am at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
