Susan Moloughney, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Sunday night, March 17, 2019.

Susan was born Mother’s Day, May 12, 1940 in Jersey City, New Jersey, a daughter of Edward and Helen (Canning) Moloughney.

Susan graduated from the University of Dallas in 1963.

She taught at St Monica Catholic School in Dallas prior to earning her wings as a Braniff International Flight Attendant, as well as, a supervisor and instructor in the department.

Susan retired from her 42 year flying career from American Airlines in 2005.

Susan is survived by her brother Edward J. and wife Mary Moloughney of Dallas, and sister Jean and husband Dr. Richard C. Wootan of Dallas.

Her nieces and nephews: Edward Moloughney and wife Monica, Michael Moloughney, Katie Moloughney, Mary Beth Wootan Holst and husband Bryan, and Sam Wootan.

A celebration of Susan’s life will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, located at 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas.

The visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

The rosary will be recited at 11:30 AM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 Noon at Calvary Hill North Chapel.

Entombment will be held at Calvary Hill Mausoleum.

Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery in Dallas, Texas has charge of arrangements.

I met Susan and Randy at the World Trade Center in Dallas. Stayed with Susan for years while working for other showrooms in the WTC. It was always a treat to have dinner and great conversations with her and the many dogs. She and Bob came to San Antonio years ago and traveled to the Tx. Hill Country and LBJ ranch, great memories.
