Linda and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Although I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Carl I felt I knew him through Linda. There are many reasons to remember Carl because of his cheerfulness, and joy he brought to others.  He prayed for Doreen Beyer and me one morning rather than for those working in the area because we had given him rides outside in his wheelchair!  All of you will appreciate the wonderful care you gave to him.

thinking of you there as you go through your adjustment...  always enjoyed being there for meetings... and Carl always seemed so happy.

Dear Sandy Donna and Linda sorry to hear about Carl it was always enjoyable growing up around Carl and all of you i have plenty of fond memories it's a blessing and comfort to know he loved God.    sorry that i'm not able to make the trip up there you are all in my thoughts. Uncle Carl u will be missed we use to go fishing as I was growing up u used to throw kisses and winks at me we had laughs now look at me I have been crying your my favorite uncle mom sorry for your lost I'm talking about linda

Dear Sandy, Donna, Linda and all, It's special to think about you now, even from a long ways away. I vividly remember being in the home with your parents and Carl, many times, but especially the FIRST time comes to my mind now. I went with Evelyn Smith, right after conv. Carl had made it clear that he wanted to serve God, and Evelyn wanted him to know that there were things he could do that would show his commitment. She talked to him about being thankful, about controlling his temper, about practical things. He took it seriously, and it was touching to see his efforts to work on himself. Dear Sandy, Donna and Linda and other family members of Carl,
Your brother was so loved and cared for by your parents and all of you.  It was always special to see the way he brightened up when everyone greeted him after meeting.  It is a sweet release for him, isn't it?  He did have something in his heart that he couldn't fully tell us about, but we knew he loved the story of Jesus.
