She was an amazing mother. Her whole world revolves around her children and grandchildren. Everytime she seen one of us she developed the biggest smile. She was always there with words of wisdom and encouragement. I loved hearing her say I would always be her baby girl. I remember her doing silly dances to make me laugh when she heard music. She loved The Eagles and she use to sing along and tap her hand on her leg. She was always there through good times and bad. She was more than a mom to me she was my best friend. She wouldn't want us to be sad. She did not like to see us that way. In trying to deal with this devastating loss, I find myself wishing I could call her. I remember her saying I will still be there to listen. So I had a long conversation with her last night. Then I thought about what she would have said to me. She would have wanted me to toughen up and go on with life. To be strong when it seems impossible. To be loved and to give love. To continue to think about her. And to carry on her legacy. Her legacy was being an amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin , and friend. You are forever in my heart mama and I will never stop being a reflection on you.
