Clarissa Costa Kibbe, 59, beloved wife of Alan Kibbe and mother of Michael Mulligan, lost her fight and joined her mom Geraldine on Monday, August 6, with her family by her side.

Born in Hartford, she grew up in East Hartford and made her home in Somers. For many years she worked as a pharmacy technician at Somers Pharmacy in Somers, CT.

She loved gardening, classic cars, and was an avid fan of Dale Jr.

In addition to her loving husband and son and her precious dog little-bit, she leaves behind her father and his wife Bill and Barb Costa of Ellington, her siblings: Colleen Costa of East Granby, Cathleen Gusta of NC., Bill Costa of Glastonbury, Cher Courchaine of Somers, Ricky Bisson of CA., Kevin Bisson of Ellington, Tracey Bisson of East Hartford, also the Risleys and the Laraias and many friends.

Calling hours will be Thursday, August 9, 2018 5-7pm at the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside, East Hartford, CT 06108. Funeral services will begin at 10:30am on Friday, August 10th followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11am all at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford.
