Gordon Evert Scarlett

Gordon Evert Scarlett, of Okemos, Michigan passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 90. Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Virginia Elaine, as well as four children: Todd (Kim), Sheri, John and Jim; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Gordon was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Elaine and son, Paul Gordon. Gordon served in the Navy and owned Scarlett Sand and Gravel for several decades. Gordon was a devoted husband and father and enjoyed spending time boating and fishing in Indian River and winters in Florida. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM at 1730 East Grand River Ave, East Lansing, MI 48823; visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Following the funeral services, burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, 2520 W. Willow St., Lansing, MI 48917.
