She worked at Central Glass for many years. Once her husband passed away, she began volunteering at the St. Mary’s Gift Shop. Jackie was a life-long member of Nativity and was attending Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where she was very active with volunteering. She was a member of SWIRCA, loved playing Bingo and going to the casino. Jackie was very talented at sewing and crafting, participating in many craft shows, selling her crafts. She was known for her Scrubbies, and Raggedy Ann and Andy Dolls. Jackie was truly one of a kind.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, James Belwood; her son, Bruce Belwood; and two sisters, Imogene Yeager and Blanche Ginger.
She is survived by her brother, Leslie Lenn (Jeannette), daughter, Sandra Nelson (Jim); sons, Brian Belwood and Daniel J. Belwood (Karen); grandchildren, Jimmy Nelson (Lesley), Chris Nelson, Ryan Belwood (Amanda), Craig Belwood, Brooke Joergens (Ben), Jordan Belwood (Whitney), and Cheyenne Griffith (James); thirteen great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday September 4, 2019 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday September 3, 2019 4-8pm at Alexander East Chapel. Visitation will also be held Wednesday 9am until service time at the church.
