Veronica A. (Rigby) Anger, “Ronnie,” age 88, of Green Valley, Arizona, formerly of Fall River, Massachusetts passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018. She was the wife of the late Edward P. Anger to whom she married on February 26, 1949.
Born in Fall River on October 23, 1929, she was a daughter of the late William and Albina (LeBlanc) Rigby.
In addition to being a homemaker and raising her children, she worked for the family hardware and locksmith business with her husband for many years. She also worked at different retail stores in the Fall River area.
She is survived by three children, Cheryl Ann (David) Wilcox of NH, Christine Barbara (Rodger) Allinson of AZ and Edward P. (Geri) Anger Jr, of MA. She loved babysitting her seven grandchildren and later five great-grandchildren. In Nov 2015 she was fortunate enough to meet and hold her first great-great- grandchild.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11:00AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St, Fall River. Visitation will be held prior to her service from 10:00 to 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452 or to Hospice Family Care, 275 West Continental Rd. #195, Green Valley, AZ 85622. Burial private.
