

Mary was born on March 11, 1924 in International Falls, Mn. to George A. Ruelle and Bertha Sabourin. She attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School in International Falls.
The former Mary Ruelle was united in marriage to Ralph Misner in 1940. After his passing, she married Ray Misner in 1947. Mary and Ray owned and operated Misner's Turtle Lake Resort in Mine Centre, Ont.
Mary was a lifelong homemaker and caregiver who enjoyed baking, sewing, crocheting, and playing Cribbage.
She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in International Falls, Mn. and St. Mary's Parish, St Mary's Auxiliary, and the Columbus House Board of Directors in Fort Frances, Ont.
Mary was predeceased by her parents; husbands, Ralph Misner and Ray Misner; brothers, Clarence “Gay” Ruelle, Roland Ruelle, infant Robert Ruelle, George Ruelle Jr., and Richard Ruelle; sisters, Cecile Dier Glava, Mildred Weekman, Jeanette Dilworth, Jean Rogers, and Marjorie Beer; stepson, Harvey Misner; and stepdaughter, Donna (Jim) Valentine.
Mary is survived by her son, Robert J. (Sharon) Misner of International Falls, Mn.; grandchildren, Pam (Dave) Tomevi and Bob (Michelle) Misner; great-grandchildren, Amara (Jacob) Marty, Ryan Tomevi, Michael Misner, Shawna Misner, and Emma Misner; great-great-grandchildren, Mason Marty and James Marty; and stepdaughters, Reta McGovern of Rapid City, S.D. and Anita (Harold) Robinson of Dewey, Ariz.; and their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She also is survived by her brother, John Ruelle of International Falls, Mn.; sister, Marlene (Eugene) Skoglund of International Falls, Mn.; brother-in-law, Carroll Rogers of Oak Creek, Wis.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial Mass will be conducted at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in International Falls on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 11 a.m.
Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in International Falls.
