Rita was born in Cuyahoga Falls, OH and has been a resident of Fort Pierce for 21 years coming from Medina, OH.
Prior to retirement, Rita worked as a secretary for Permold Inc. for 11 years in Medina OH. She was a member of Faith United Fellowship in Vero Beach, FL.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Floyd Chapman of Fort Pierce, FL, daughter,Lynn Marie Herman of West Salem, OH, stepdaughters, Brenda Chapman of Richlands, NC, Marily Miller of Canton OH, stepsons, Rodney Chapman of Waupaca, WI, Delbert Chapman of Dallas, GA, James Chapman of Hedgesville, WV, sisters, Gaynell Demeter of Medina, OH, Illene Farnsworth of Wadsworth, OH, Darlene Spies of Seville, OH, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Jo O’Brien.
A visitation will be held from 4-6pm on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Services will be held 10:00am at Faith United Fellowship in Vero Beach on Monday, July 15, 2013.
