Donald R Weinman

DONALD RAY WEINMAN, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014 at Signature Care Health Care. He was born Feb. 25, 1931 in Fort Wayne the son of the late Oscar Paul Weinman and Mary Katherine Jackson. He was a Process Engineer with Rea Magnet Wire for over 35 years. He was a U.S. Navy Korean War Veteran, and a member of the American Legion Orland Post. Surviving are his sons, Thomas (Cindy) Weinman of New Haven and Ronald Weinman of Fremont; daughter, Karen (Gary) Hemsoth of New Haven; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Doris M. Downs Weinman. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6600 Covington Road. Private service at a later date. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
