Elizabeth Mortorff

Elizabeth Mortorff, 88, of Ossian passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019. She was born on November 22, 1930 in Philadelphia, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Jim and Grady (Hall) Smith. She worked as a supervisor at Colwell General Printing Co. for 35 years before retiring. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and shopping. Surviving family include her children, Charlotte and Dwight Pinson, and Michael Pogue; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a brother, Willis (Anna Marie) Smith. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Maynard “Chris” Mortorff; son, Aussie Pinson; and six siblings. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Rd., Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made Ossian Health Care, Memory Unit or Heart to Heart Hospice.
