One behalf of United States Submarine Veterans, Inc - Northern Virginia Base (USSVI NOVA) and my self, our condolences to Bill's family and friends.

Bill had been a member of USSVI NOVA since Sept 19, 2019, and was due to be inducted into the Holland Club this year, which is an honored group of USSVI members that have been "qualified in submarines" for 50 or more years. He qualified onboard the USS Grampus (SS-523) in 1957 and left the US Navy as an EN3(SS).

Bill from the first meeting made friends with his Brothers of the Phins and was a valued member of the Base. We will miss him and the sea stories that he shared with us.

Shipmate, Rest your Oar
We have the watch now.
