Marilyn A. Kester

Marilyn was born March 25, 1945 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Orville and Marjorie (Rice) Waters. She graduated from North Side High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana with the class of 1963. Marilyn married James Kester on May 23, 1964 at the Wallen Methodist Church. She worked for 33 years at General Electric in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Sportsmen Club. Marilyn enjoyed playing euchre, fishing, hunting, and traveling. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. She loved taking food to other people. She was a fun loving, good hearted person.

Marilyn is survived by her husband: James Kester; her siblings: Beverly Mozena of Orland, IN, Larry (Sandra) Waters of New Haven, IN, and Geary Waters, Terry Waters, and Randy Waters all of Fort Wayne, IN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers-in-law: Bill Kester and Carl Mozena.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 5 pm until 10 pm, at the Izaak Walton, 17100 Griffin Road, Huntertown, IN 46748.
