Maria de Jesus Lujano

Maria was born on March 4, 1930 in Hill, New Mexico to Lucio and Eva Perez. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She worked and co-owned the accounting business with her husband for over 20 years. Maria was a member of the PTA, school advisory board, Metro Ministry and the League of Mexican American Women. Maria passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 12, 2020.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband Hilario Lujano, and her brothers; John Perez, Gilbert Perez and Joe Perez.

She is survived by her son; Edward Lujano and his wife Margaret, her sister; Socorro Valdez, brothers; Ed Perez, Lucio Perez Jr., and Alfonso Perez. Maria also leaves behind her adoring granddaughters; Jacqueline Lujano and Arissa Lujano.

Visitation will be held at Palm La Paz Funeral Home on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

The Rosary will be held at Palm La Paz Funeral Home on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held at the Shrine of Saint Therese on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.
